Greg Holkan is a graphic designer and illustrator with 8 years of experience producing work for a wide range of clients. From insurance companies and home builders to scientific equipment suppliers and attorneys, Greg has created logos, brochures, business cards, and websites for them all.
Greg grew up in a small town in rural Oklahoma, 20 minutes from the nearest supermarket, public library, or movie theater. These days, he calls Oklahoma City home, where he lives with his wife Cindy and their large fuzzball cat.
Greg is a recovering web cartoonist (you’re never really cured), and has created work for the Role-Playing Game industry for Atomic Sock Monkey Press and Evil Hat Games.
A bicentennial baby, Greg was born in 1976, which was also the Year of the Dragon. He’s studied fine art, kung fu, taoism, plays harmonica (badly), and is teaching himself card tricks and cardistry (also badly). He likes reading comics, science fiction, fantasy, anything by Christopher Moore, and trade books/publications. He spends a lot of time listening to old Country Music (think Jimmie Rodgers and Hank Williams), good country music (think Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylo… Oh to hell with it, the Highwaymen and their friends), Neko Case, The New Pornographers, Daft Punk, and Oklahoma City’s own internet radio station, the Spy.
